How Capacitive Level Switch works ?
The position of an object or liquid is monitored by detecting changes in capacitance.
When the distance between the object or liquid and the sensor changes, the capacitance value changes, thereby triggering the switch action.
The working principle of the capacitive object/liquid level switch is mainly based on the physical properties of capacitance. Specifically, the core component of this switch is a capacitive sensor, which is usually composed of two metal electrodes.
According to the capacitance formed between the sensing electrode and the grounding electrode, the measured material is used as the medium.
When the material covers the sensing electrode, the measured capacitance value will increase, and a switch signal will be output when the set value is reached.
